Understanding and Supporting Your Gifted Child

 

Granite District Gifted Coordinator Sheri Sorenson will address parents’ most common concerns about their gifted students from her experiences as a teacher and parent of gifted children.

·        LEARN strategies to support your child

·        MEET Granite & Murray Gifted Program Coordinators

·        GATHER resources about gifted children and programs

·        GET INVOLVED with your local affiliate

Classes for K-6th grade children will also be available.

The Granite Association for Gifted Children (GAGC) is an affiliate of the Utah Association for Gifted Children. We are a non-profit organization of parents, educators, and students dedicated to meeting the educational needs of gifted and talented children. We believe that all children deserve the opportunity for educational growth within our public school system. We are committed to supporting and improving gifted and talented education in Granite School District.

MAGC is an affiliate of the Utah Association for Gifted Children.  We are a volunteer, non-profit support and advocacy group. We promote awareness of the unique social, emotional, & intellectual needs of gifted and talented students and strive to impact the development of appropriate educational services for these students. MAGC is represented at the Murray Community Network and on the Murray District Gifted Task Force.
